I know they are going to take their sweet little time making the sequeal...i hate an ending that leaves you hanging like this one does but still a very good movie
I loved the movie; however, this is a movie about Scandinavian mythology, not "Thor goes to white castle". I'd expect a film about Chinese people to have Chinese actors, an African film with African actors, an Idian film with Indian actors, and a Germanic film with Germanic actors. And the whole thing with the multicultural idea behind it, is just damaging. I mean; you can't just place 2 people with opposing cultures in a room together, lest there be some sort of strife. I celebrate diversity, not multiculturalism. The more and more someone else takes part in your traditions, the more and more you lose your uniqueness; by and by, you won't have any culture at all.
i dont agree at all its a movie and doesnt have to be exactly to the t with cultural differences and if they were going to do that it would have been made that way obviously they didnt intend it to be exactly like the mythology so dont bother complaining
ill give it a 9-10 rating as for some dumb korpf who just write some crazy comments on some good movie just for the fun of writting get a job pls in the republican party
Yeah, just a movie, but it wasn't a good vibe when Thor winks at his mom. Even if she starred in Thomas Crown Affair, you don't wink at your mom while your pops is talking to you.
This is a really entertaining film. So many great actors. Stellan Skarsgard and Natalie Portman are truly amazing. They bring these not so greatly written characters to life and make them utterly charming. Just a lot of fun to watch.
good movie 9/10, i dont know what fight u expect when he was without him powers on Earth, and "more action in fighting, less lightning" btw what u expect it, it was about gods, and i dont think that they will fight like wrestlers lol
i liked it alot, this is my kind of movie, swords and man to man combat is better than f-16 and nukes which i see is for nerd cowrads who learned how to use video games as kids instead of roughing it in the playgrounds :)
Ok...So i liked the movie it WAS a so so movie but i will say the ending kind of blew..The fight wasnt as big as expected hopefully in the sequel there will be a bit more action in the fighting less lightning farts and stuff
emotive drama for war requires slow build up. if you ever fight by hand you will notice building tension is key to prep battle. Matrix 2 & 3 has loads of actions. THOR is more fantasy / sci-fi & drama and ancient mythology w/ some clean actions to carry the story rather than "make" the story. hoping Hollywood keeps action/dramas like this happening because the time to kill in real life is short and to the point. Death is dramatic not romantic, hoping realism keeps making its slow showing valuable like this. 5/5 in theater experience.
Is it me or does this dude remind you a lot of Heath Ledger? I liked Heath better though. Thor should have been in Brokeback Mountain, he's a better fit. Otherwise, thought the movie was kind of lame. Don't recommend it. Maybe if you're 10.
movies are fantasy just like comic books!!THOR was great as is.people have imaginations so they can spin it anyway they want.If you're obsessed with comic book versions then just read the comics or make your own version of the movie!!And who cares what color the charecters are!!!IT'S ALL FANTASY!!!!
Alright if you're going to watch for the story don't expect some intense thriller with an unexpected twist but when it comes to the effects and the scenery...wow This movie is obviously just part 1 and what it mainly does is introduce you to the world of the Gods I can't wait for the next one you can tell it will be intense!! :)
Due to the current site problems I only managed to watch 15 minutes-first impression wasn't bad and I will keep trying BUT I took an instant dislike to Thor himself? Why? No idea!
l seen it all, maybe l was in a bad mood, but it seemed boring to me, maybe more for kids, or if l was in a better mood. l might of thought more of it.
they also obviously did this bcoz if they didnt cast 1 black person in a somewhat goodguy/lead role all the racist rows will break out like they do all the time. thing is these are norse gods so there arent originally black ppl in scandenavia. no not racist just truth.
That isn't actually true. It was drastically unfaithful to the mythological facts of the story of Thor. One major example is the God Heimdall, known as "the Whitest of the Gods" being played by a black actor. In my opinion, if a movie was made about an old African religion, you can bet that the Mythology would be alot more accurate.

the movie itself wasa great watch. two thumbs up ten for ten. the links however were horrible. i meanits 2011 where is the tech man. all of them were bad. it took us around eight hours. no ad issues just constant freezing and waiting
I loved it especially the ending, just as Thor has always been one of the best marvel hero's whom is just awesome any who i gave the movie a 5/5 stars, its amazing! and i for one really enjoyed watching ever minute of it. I watched it on #9's video "wisevid" it i find is the best one to watch it on, just saying.
what was giving Jeremy Renner such a small role in this Movie? he's a great actor. this must be one of the first movies I've not liked Natalie Portman. her acting in this film was awful. Stellan Skarsgård is taking some terrible roles these days too. another great actor. I'm not saying the movie was bad. it wasn't. I just didn't like it but only because it could have been easily much better. Rene Russo was in this. Jesus where did they dig her up from. can't say I liked her in Lethal Weapon 3-4 can't say I even noticed her in this. they explained everything so well they didn't give me anything to think about. I just feel like Kenneth Branagh vomited all over me and now I'm pissed off.
Try to finish til the very last minute of evry movie you like.. there cud be a teaser @ the very end..(like the FF5 & Thor) The quality of the movie available wasnt the best.. but the movie itself made every second of it TIME WORTHY. for me its def a 10/10!!!! TY o/
i use real player to watch the movies just download real player .when u do pick any streamer after you open the streamer u will see up on the right corner realplayer download botton click on it it will take a few to download after its done go to realplayer library and watch ur movie there i do it all the time and i never have a promlem better than waiting 6 hours or a day to watch a movie ...just lendin a helpin hand .
Was good, but took 6 hours to watch on movshare and had to watch it in small screen mode in order to keep muting the sound adds and when the sound adds restarted it stopped the movie and had to wait for it to buffer.
Use Firefox Browser. Get Ad Block Plus addon.. Block everything but the player. When blocked on one site, works for all sites. Increases speed, decreases buffering, and you don't have to worry about the ads.
Yes i agree Sentienshad This took me hours to watch had to keep pausing it like every 5 min. jor about 20. And the ads pop up and start a commercial during the movie at any random time. im not sure why this is . But the movie was ok i look forward to captain america next.
