Brilliant - I learned more about this Prime Minster, than I would have ever learned by reading about her. Many hallmarks in this film mark today's issues in America. The privileged class - against the people. Streep always excellent - and the transformation remarkable - Once in a Blue moon Hollywood gets it right. If she does not win an Oscar, no one should.. great cast - production and cinematography. Upload superb .. thanks..
Meryl Streep's performance is outstanding but the movie is poor. Margaret Thatcher's political career dissected in 90 mins! Far too vague to make any kind of genuine impression of the subject. A bit like picking up her memoirs and flicking through it, rather than reading it. Not sure what the director had in mind but for me it was disappointing.
Meryl Streep does a good portrayal of Margaret Thatcher although I feel the film lingers on her dementia too much and not on the vibrant woman she is known as. 6/10
I was disappointed with the film. Yes Meryl Streep plays Thatcher very well but it`s such a morbid outlook on what was a very vibrant woman. Margaret Thatcher herself I`m sure would hate it.

this film has been much criticised for showing Thatcher as a frail, senile old woman looking back with regrets at what she did, I do not agree, it did, for the first time in my eyes, make her human, sympathetic and capable of feelings other than if it had simply showed a glamorised rise to power a strong woman.
ms. Streep is very convincing and the movie is a subtle study of a woman trying to fight back in a then man`s world, who sadly at the end lost her way, confusing power with strength, determination with being stubborn, its not cruel as much as it shows a woman who became too strong and lost the human touch, but in her senile years seeks affection and respect again in her memories
you have to take this for what it is, a fairy-tale! to us Irish Thatcher was considered to be up there with saddam and bin-laden, dont forget your rose tinted glasses when watching this!!
