Nice cinematography. The way the characters develop is interesting although most of their reactions were disappointing. Woodley did a very good job. Clooney's performance was convincing but he certainly didn't deserve an Oscar nomination..!!?? Best picture? Best script? why nominate something that is just mediocre or average?
So many people comment that not much happens..... this isn't an action movie it's a film about real life, real family issues, and how to cope in a crisis. Its beautifully and sensitively dealt with. It deserves to have been nominated best picture and George Clooney deserves his nomination too. Its a quietly powerful film that's touching, and sad, but not without some really funny moments as well. Wonderful!!
Well Acted, great cast, Clooney great as usual.. Brilliant and unique script, well directed - stellar cast - characters very realistic - e.g. no pretty people... Hard to believe the guy from "Scary Movie" could be in the same film with this cast.. Hawaii extremely Beautiful - I wanted to pack my bags several times and head to the Airport during the film -- beautiful upload.. thanks.. Now that Megavid is gone, Yeah! lucky to have such good quality upload so quickly... thanks
This movie is good and I give it 9/10....good storyline and depicts events in a real,day to day lives of ordinary people...I like George because he always makes smart movies
I believe you have to be a wife/husband and have children to understand this movie. Our society has so lost value in what really matters n lasting relationships and this movie exemplified that example...
Well, I do not understand why there are so many negative comments about this film. I thought it was a nice flick. I mean it was not the best film I ever seen, but it was pretty good. I would not down it by any means. My rating... 8/10
Thank you to the uploader! Meanwhile, the movie was a disappointment. Probably because there was so much hype attached to it that by the time I sat down to watch, it couldn't match expectations. Also, part of the storyline was already done in a recent Liam Neeson movie, which was no great shakes either. So I guess it's down to "The Artist" - hope a copy of that one becomes available soon!
this movie was just ok for me. A bit boring drawn out and nothing really happens in this movie. This movie had so much more potential. 3/5 worth a watch but would not buy on dvd or ever watch again.
Like the waves on the beautiful Hawaiian beaches, our emotions rise and fall in this splendid, emotionally rich drama in which laughter and tears are balanced on the precarious surfboard of life. i enjoyed this movie! george clooney did a great job!
I liked this movie very much, it kept my interest from the beginning to the end of the movie, I would rate this as an 8.5. I had no problems with the movie buffering at all. I used the Novamov server.
